This pattern was written for a Block of the Month and will be printed as ordered in full color.  You will receive the full Kit version of the pattern, the Sham pillow pattern, as well as the Block of the Month version.

Blue Smoke is sized for a King, California King or Queen, depending on drop desired.  Bold Wilmington Prints in batiks-blues and grays are featured in Blue Smoke,  a gorgeous large quilt!  Within a generous quilt layout, the unusual center features large custom blocks, pieced setting triangles, and pieced borders inserted top and bottom to make a rectangular quilt.  The outer pieced border has different blocks set into diamond-on-a-square blocks.  While this is a stunning pattern, none of the piecing is difficult.  The result is a fabulous and richly-colored heirloom quilt.

The designer feels that the size of the blocks and piecing means that quilters with moderate experience and even confident beginners will find this project achievable (no tiny or intricate piecing).
